Every athlete in this program leaves with the terrain judgment, safety awareness, and mountain confidence to ride for life. We develop the whole mountain athlete — skier or snowboarder — through technical skill, mental toughness, and a deep respect for the terrain.

Beyond weekly training, Loveland Freeride athletes head out on coach-guided trips to some of Colorado’s most legendary big-mountain terrain — a chance to ski and ride steeper, wilder lines and earn a little adventure along the way.
The hike-to East Wall — earn your turns on terrain that rewards every step of the bootpack.
Some say the birthplace of freeride. Steep, technical, and steeped in the history of the sport.
One lift, expert-only, no groomers. A true big-mountain proving ground.

Sibling discount: A 10% discount is applied to each additional athlete registered within the same family.
Recommendation for Two-Day athletes: We recommend Two-Day athletes also purchase an Ikon Pass.
Additional competitions / overnights: Competitions beyond local events, or any competition requiring overnight travel with coaches, will have a maximum chargeback of $175 per event — with the exception of out-of-state national events.
Dryland coaching fees are included in tuition. Facility fees are not. Dryland venues — SnoBahn, yoga, and the rec center — charge $5–$25 per session, or you can purchase an individual membership directly with the venue.
Personal gear, individual IFSA memberships, Rocky Mountain regional memberships, competition registration fees, and travel to away competitions are not included in tuition.
We never want cost to be the reason a motivated athlete misses out on the mountains.
Financial assistance options for the 2026–27 season are still being finalized. We’d rather tell you where things actually stand than make a promise we can’t yet keep.
